On Saturday, May 4th the Bixby Fine Arts Department will present our 2nd annual Bixby Fine Arts Fair!! The event will be held in Downtown Bixby at Charley Young Park. There will be a student arts show, live entertainment by student groups, food trucks and much more. We hope to see you there!!
2024 BHS Summer School Registration is open for current 8th-12th graders. Early Bird Registration ends on April 30th at 12 p.m. Registration will remain open through May 28th.

It's A Great Day To Be A Spartan
Bixby's High School Career Fair is next Wednesday, April 24th from 10am to 1pm in the Whitey Ford Gym.
Sophomore students will attend the fair with their 2nd hour teacher. Juniors and Seniors will attend the fair anytime between 11am and 1pm with their 3rd hour teacher.
All students will receive a "Career Fair Card" that student can stamp at each vendor booth. Students who visit and receive stamps from 6 vendor booths will be entered for a door prize. Winners will be announced on April 25th.

Bixby High School Student Activities is proudly fundraising for Make-A-Wish Oklahoma. This is the sixth year Make A Wish has been selected as our philanthropy project. During that time, BHS has raised over $100,000 for this life changing organization.
When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope. The majority of wish kids go on to beat their critical illnesses, and research shows that a wish can help children build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight – giving them a better chance of surviving and thriving.
There are currently over 300 children in Oklahoma (four in Bixby) with critical illnesses waiting for their wish to be granted. With your donation, we can make wishes their wishes come true. All money stays within the state of Oklahoma. So, donate today and join us in our campaign.

Some students in Mrs. Smith's class were excavating 6 million year old fish fossils from the Green River Formation in Wyoming.
These are photos of our mining exercise in Environmental Science - the assignment was to mine chocolate chips from a brownie, and then try to put the brownie back together & they had to budget for their tools to mine & they subtracted money for not putting their brownie back together. It was a fun model for the mining industry!

The 2024 FAFSA Workshop will be on Thursday, Feb 1 from 11-2 in the HS Media Center. There is no need to register, you can just come. Please contact Mrs. Rampey with any additional questions or concerns.
We have the kick-off for our Penny Drive this Friday at the Basketball Game. The Penny Drive will run January 26-February 2.
We will be collecting during all 4th hour classes.

The new date is Wednesday, Jan 24th during lunch (11:20-12:50) Seniors can come to the Media Center yearbook room Studio D to have it taken.. This will be the one and only day to have it done for the pages need to be submitted next week.
