Today they analyzed Plato fecal samples (aka: playdough and beads) to determine whether or not it came from a healthy gut microbiome! #whatsupwednesday #scienceispHun
Happy Ducky Monday! It's going to be a great week at BEI!
We have had a wonderful week here at EI! From finding joy in the nurse's office, matching our co-workers unexpectedly, turning our classrooms into Pizzerias, and learning all about Mrs. Robert's and her husband's special Search and Rescue dog! We can't wait to see what we learn next!
Learn well. Live with Honor. Go Spartans!
Happy Ducky Monday!
For those of you new to EI this year- What is "Ducky Monday?"
Our FABULOUS and INCREDIBLE Janitor, Andria created the "Ducky Club!" last year!
Students are able to sign up to join "Ducky Club" each morning before class. "Ducky Club" allows students to help her with various jobs around the school (teacher approved of course!). This has instilled an amazing comradery and respect for our school building! On Monday's she hides yellow rubber duckies for student's to find and turn in for a prize!
We are so thankful for you, Mrs. Andria!

Our new 4th grade students have settled in wonderfully and had a great first visit to the library! They explored the shelves with enthusiasm, finding books that excited them and discovering the many resources available. Their positive start promises a bright and engaging school year ahead! Thank you, Mrs. Mcdonald for sharing!
Before you kick off your Labor Day Weekend...
We are already diving into science this 2nd week of the 24-25 school year! 5th Grade teacher, Mrs. Roesslein and her students have been making hypothesis on how different forms of liquids will transform a gummy bear. Today they FINALLY (and so excitingly!) got to see the final results!
Nothing like a surprise fire drill! Fire dept is on their way. Please read the email I sent this morning for procedures. If you have students in wheelchairs please get them to the first floor so we can evacuate them first.
