Good Morning and welcome back!
Here is some information for the upcoming Book Fair next month.

Even though the weather is keeping us inside, Bixby East Intermediate students and teachers are still smiling, learning, and having fun with Distance Learning today! ❄️📚 It's proof that we can still have a great time, no matter where we are! Stay cozy, everyone! #DistanceLearning #BixbyEast #LearningFromHome

Here is your friendly reminder that we are out of school tomorrow 2/14 for Professional Development Day and out Monday 2/17 for President's Day.
We will see you all back on Tuesday! Have a wonderful and safe 4 day weekend! We can't wait to hear all about it when you return!

A huge thank you to our amazing PTO for brightening our day with a soda bar, popcorn, and a fun “build your own bouquet” station! Your thoughtful gesture makes our teachers and staff feel so appreciated. We’re lucky to have such a supportive community! 💐🍿🥤 #ThankYouPTO #Grateful #BestCommunity

Happy National School Counselor Week! 🎉 This week, we’re celebrating the amazing counselors who support, guide, and inspire our students every day. 💙 Whether it's lending a listening ear, helping with academic planning, or offering life advice, school counselors make a HUGE difference in our school communities. Let’s take a moment to show them some love and appreciation for all they do! 🧑🏫✨ #NationalSchoolCounselorWeek #ThankYouCounselors #SupportOurStudents

Yesterday, 4th graders went on an unforgettable field trip to experience the excitement of NBA basketball in an educational setting!
Partnering with Science Museum Oklahoma, the Oklahoma City Thunder presented STEM facts, videos, and activities that brought the science of basketball to life. Students, Teachers, and Chaperones had a slam-dunk kind of day!

This week we implemented a new and fun project in our hallways, thanks to the idea of 5th Grade Student, Tess Struttmann!
Located on each hallway are new "Postive Post-It Walls." Students can leave kind and uplifting notes to friends, teachers, and staff. Post-Its are allowed to be taken if specific to that student, or taken if it's meant for anyone! It's been not only a joy to see but just as much fun to participate in! #spreadjoy #spreadkindness #makeadifference #bixbyspartans

How's the new gym? STILL AWESOME!

Exciting day for 5th grade! Our students had the incredible opportunity to meet and listen to Ms. Oklahoma, Lauren Frost during their specials time today! 🌟 She shared her inspiring journey and empowered our kids to dream big and believe in themselves. What a memorable experience! 💫 #MsOklahoma #Inspiration #FutureLeaders #5thGradeAdventures

Mrs. Davis shared this adorable photo with us of her students enjoying watching the snow come down.

Before winter break, 5th Grade finished reading the book, "Holes" by Louis Sachar. Mrs. Moore's class kicked off their spring semester by starting on their "Spotted Lizard Traps!"

Wishing you all a safe and fun break!

Our building secretary nailed Tacky Sweater Day with her Skibidi Rizzle Santa sweatshirt! She may now be Fourth Grade's biggest fan!

Our 5th grade Language Arts classes finished reading, "Holes" by Louis Sachar this past week. Today, Mrs. Foster's class celebrated by watching the movie and enjoying some book-specific snacks! So much fun!

Just a quick reminder about this week's dress-up days!

Today our students got to participate in the Gold Ball Tour!
I think our favorite part was seeing our Principals and Building Secretary waiting patiently at the door to watch them pull up! We were just as excited as the students were to see our Champions! Go Spartans!

Join us next week for some fun and festive Dress-up Days!
