Last week, Mrs. Foster’s 5th graders read Crankenstein! After reading, students followed a directed drawing lesson to create their own Crankensteins. Then, using the ChatterPix app, they brought their characters to life by recording voices and making their drawings talk! It was a creative and laughter-filled project combining reading, art, and technology!

Over the last several weeks during Flex, our amazing 5th Graders have been working hard on building their reading fluency through Reader’s Theatre! They practiced expression, pacing, and teamwork—and it all paid off!
To wrap up their rotation, they performed their final pieces for our Kindergarten and First Grade students, who LOVED every moment! 🌟 So proud of our 5th Graders for being confident readers and fantastic role models!

Happy Monday! Last week, Mrs. Foster's 5th Grade class learned that the sun isn't the biggest star in the universe, but it seems so large because it is closest to our planet. Mrs. Foster created a fun photo project to visually show them how small objects look big when they are close. What a fun idea! Thank you for sharing these photos with us, Mrs. Foster!
