Last week, BNI’s 5th graders went on a field trip to the TULSA ZOO! They had an excellent time on a truly beautiful day. Thank you to all of the wonderful chaperones who made the trip possible!

Our Book Fair is wrapping up and we are so happy with how many new books are in the hand of our students and teachers. We have placed reorders for the top sellers and should receive them by Monday. The online gift cards have been an easy way to add funds and allow your student to shop without bringing cash. HAPPY READING!!!

Every year the grand finale of Mrs. Sams’ explorer unit is EXPLORER DAY! She transforms the room and students dress up and act out the lives of their explorers. This is always a surprise for the kids!

Smencil Wednesday occurs each Wednesday at BNI. The proceeds allow us to replace old books and order new titles. Did you know each library bound book cost approximately $22-$25 dollars each? This is a fun way to excite the students along with helping our library throughout the year!!
*Today and next Wednesday we will not have Smencil Sales due to the Raffle Tickets and BookFair. The Next SMENCIL WEDNESDAY is OCTOBER 16th!

Raffle Tickets will be sold next week Mon. Sept. 30th-Fri. Oct. 4th. The proceeds from the raffle tickets will go towards our own BNI students. This will allow us to draw names each day and provide students with a free book.
