Happy National School Counseling Week!
❤️🤍💙
Today we’re celebrating two incredible counselors, Stacie Lindsey and Megan Barnes, who show up every day to love, support, and care for our students in the most meaningful ways.
They are listeners, encouragers, problem-solvers, and safe spaces for so many. The impact they make reaches far beyond the counseling office — it’s felt in classrooms, hallways, and in the hearts of the students they serve.
Thank you, Mrs. Lindsey and Mrs. Barnes, for the compassion, dedication, and steady support you give our school community. We are so grateful for you at BNI!

#whatsupwednesday
In 5th grade English, both Mrs. James and Ms. Sheets classrooms are exploring the world during WWII and the Holocaust in preparation for their next book study on Number the Stars by Lois Lowry. Students questioned how big the railway cart was while watching Paperclips by Joe Fab. What better way to find out than creating an outline of the cart to really increase their perception of how many people would fit in a small space for so long.
