Ms. Jones’s class worked in building simple circuits using a few components— a wire, lightbulb, and a battery!— some of our curious young scientists even took it a step further to explore parallel and series circuits!
Way to go Ms. Jones’s class! Your curiosity and creativity really shine!

In Mrs. Burkholder's 6th grade class, students created “paper bones” that were circular, triangular, and square to determine which shape is the most supportive. They discussed how this supports the scientific concept of structure and function being directly related.

Check out what Mrs. Osburn's 5th graders have been up to... It’s “forced perspective"!!!They studied how distance matters when you look at the sun's brightness and the size in relation to Earth. What a fun way to see that!

Ms. Lytle and Mrs. Rucker love on our teachers and students at BNI. These 2 walk alongside us providing support, mentorship, and help to integrate new techniques into our classrooms. Happy National Coaches Appreciation Day to our IC (Instructional Coach) and DLC (Digital Learning Coach)!!! Amanda Wann & Katelin Bledsoe are incredible and keep us going each and every day! They provide support to teachers through activities like lesson planning, data analysis, mentoring, and helping implement new educational strategies. We here at BNI would be lost without you!!
