Mrs. Mitchell’s class had some fun in math today with a Project Based Learning assignment where they worked with a small group to plan a trip to Super Bowl LIX. Each group was a “family” who budgeted for flights, lodging, food, souvenirs, and of course, tickets to the big game! This led to a great class discussion and appreciation for when our families take us on big trips and how much time, planning, and money it costs. What a fun, real world lesson!
