#takecaretuesday and our students are learning the importance of being kind to their minds for Red Ribbon Week!

No school Monday! Red Ribbon week starts Tuesday!

Think about having leaders that encourage and support their staff and students everyday to reach their potential. Leaders that check in daily to make sure you have what we need to succeed. Leaders that help your school SHINE BRIGHT. We at BNE have those leaders in Mrs. Chinsethagid and Mrs. Frisillo. Thank you for all you do for our staff and students! Enjoy your spa day!

It wouldn't be right to have a #thankfulthursday without thanking our very own principal's, Mrs. Chinsethagid and Mrs. Frisillo! They go above and beyond for our staff and our students! Today, they treated staff by going class to class with a popcorn bar! Woot Woot!!!

Don't forget tomorrow evening is our Fall Carnival!

It's #whatsupwednesday and today our instructional coach, Ms. Cardwell joined Mrs. Kasbaum's class! They used our GE instructional strategy of the month which is an Emoji Reflection. Mrs. Kasbaum read them a chapter from their current read aloud chapter book and then Ms. Cardwell asked them several questions about the reading. They collaborated with partners to discuss and decide which emoji they felt like best represented the answer they came up with. Then she had them share with the class!

Don't forget tomorrow is yearbook picture retakes and class pictures!

It's Fire Prevention Week at NE! Today the Bixby Fire Department came out to talk to the students about fire prevention and fire safety. They also got to explore the fire truck and talk with the firefighters! Thank you Bixby Fire Department!

Kindergarten finished their unit on pumpkins by measuring and dissecting! I'd say they made some memories by the looks of their faces!
