Graduation Information: Senior Breakfast: Wednesday, May 22 at 9:30 a.m. at the Mabee Center. Ticket s MUST be purchased before midnight on Tuesday, May 14. No tickets will be sold after this time. Purchase in the 5 Star App. For the event, students will enter the Mabee Center through the south side of the building. Graduation Practice: Senior are expected to attend graduation practice at on May 22 at 11:00 a.m. at the ORU Mabee Center. Please be on time to help speed up this process. Graduation: Seniors must be in the Mabee Center holding room by 6:00 p.m. Seniors will enter through the south side of the building (facing 81st street). Doors open to the general public at 5:30 p.m. Gradfest: Gradfest is a celebration for the graduates at Incredilbe Pizza. Doors open at 10:30 p.m. for checkin. Senior breakfast will be held at ORU upstairs in the mezzanine. Doors open at 9 and we will start at 9:30. Tickets are $25 and an all american breakfast will be served. As soon as breakfast ends we will proceed downstairs to the arena to begin graduation rehearsal. Gradfest is $45 at Incredible Pizza from 11pm- 2am. Students are required to stay the entire time. Students can enjoy the buffet and unlimited fountain drinks as well as the scrambler, roller coaster, trampoline park, mini golf, games and more! Tickets to both of these events are located on 5 Star.

On Saturday, May 4th the Bixby Fine Arts Department will present our 2nd annual Bixby Fine Arts Fair!! The event will be held in Downtown Bixby at Charley Young Park. There will be a student arts show, live entertainment by student groups, food trucks and much more. We hope to see you there!!

Thank You to all the businesses that came out yesterday to support the Bixby Career Fair! It's A Great Day To Be A Spartan

Bixby's High School Career Fair is next Wednesday, April 24th from 10am to 1pm in the Whitey Ford Gym. Sophomore students will attend the fair with their 2nd hour teacher. Juniors and Seniors will attend the fair anytime between 11am and 1pm with their 3rd hour teacher. All students will receive a "Career Fair Card" that student can stamp at each vendor booth. Students who visit and receive stamps from 6 vendor booths will be entered for a door prize. Winners will be announced on April 25th. Bixby High School Student Activities is proudly fundraising for Make-A-Wish Oklahoma. This is the sixth year Make A Wish has been selected as our philanthropy project. During that time, BHS has raised over $100,000 for this life changing organization. When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope. The majority of wish kids go on to beat their critical illnesses, and research shows that a wish can help children build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight – giving them a better chance of surviving and thriving. There are currently over 300 children in Oklahoma (four in Bixby) with critical illnesses waiting for their wish to be granted. With your donation, we can make wishes their wishes come true. Some students in Mrs. Smith's class were excavating 6 million year old fish fossils from the Green River Formation in Wyoming.

These are photos of our mining exercise in Environmental Science - the assignment was to mine chocolate chips from a brownie, and then try to put the brownie back together & they had to budget for their tools to mine & they subtracted money for not putting their brownie back together. It was a fun model for the mining industry!
