On September 10th, 2019 Bixby High School Senior Aidan Sudler presented the paper, "Why Do Galaxies Begin as Cosmic Pickles?" for the University of Tulsa Physics Department's Journal Club, a club that meets every month to discuss recent scientific papers.
Aidan did a great job! Despite the whimsical title, this was a serious paper about the early development of galaxies at the beginning of the universe.

Prep Plus is offering 3 ACT prep sessions this school year, and students can register now for the session of their choice. There are a limited number of seats for each session, so register early! Registration forms are attached and also available in the HS counseling office. NOTE: The fall session that begins on Sept 8 is in preparation for the October ACT, which might be the last opportunity for seniors wanting to improve scores for college admission and scholarship consideration.
