Despite the unpredictable winds, 29 students practiced their trap skills on Sunday. Some even shot individual high scores including Casey C, Cole P, Chaney D, Julie J, Daniel K, and Jack P. Pro-Marksman ratings were achieved by Chaney D, Daniel K, and Jack P. Turner S achieved Sharpshooter rating! Special thanks to Ms. Osceola and all the parents who help keep score. Last week, students in Señora Rangel's Spanish class had fun using Spanish prepositions to describe location by creating their own scavenger hunts. Each student wrote a series of 9 clues in Spanish and then hid them around the room for their classmates to find.
Next week we will begin our Special Olympics Money Drive to help show our love and support for our Special Olympians as they compete in the Regional Special Olympics and Oklahoma State Special Olympic games! Furry friends from the Alliance of Therapy Dogs visited students & staff at the 9GC today to bring some calm & joy! They sure did a good job.
Ms. Phenicie's classes investigated philanthropic organizations for their research projects. Students presented to the class, and judges decided on winners. Many parents gave donations to the winners' organizations. Thank you for your support to make this project a success!!
