Spartan Fans, We have our first HOME GAME at Lee Snider Stadium this week as our Spartans take on the Springdale Har-Ber Wildcats on Friday evening at 7 PM! It is also Military Appreciation Night and we look forward to honoring our veterans. As always, we expect a large crowd. Last weekend's events were an unfortunate reminder that although we want everyone to enjoy the Friday Night Lights atmosphere, safety must always remain our one priority. Welcome to the family to our new Spartan Teachers! Today we welcomed over 80 new educators to Bixby Public Schools at BPS New Teacher Training! Thank you to Bixby Bands, Bixby Spartan Dance Team, and Bixby Spartan Cheer for helping us celebrate! Three years ago TODAY, we opened the doors at our Bixby West Campus for the first time! Today, we cut the ribbon on the expansion. This new addition brings a total of 20 new classrooms and 30,000 additional square feet at Bixby West Elementary and Bixby West Intermediate! We are building an extraordinary future together, Spartans! We'd like to take this opportunity to once again thank our entire community for supporting #bixbybonds, making it ALL possible!

Mrs. Tusia's turn! She traveled up north this summer and even found a Tulsa penguin on Lake Michigan! She also visited the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Overall, this little towel traveled over 3,000 miles! #bixbybeachtowels

Spartans, Student/parent technology information for each of your BPS students has been sent your way via email this afternoon! We did have one small hiccup on PowerSchool usernames for some families and will be re-sending those shortly! This includes student ID numbers which are used to access My School Bucks, Ride 360, and other important district platforms. You'll need it at your fingertips as the school year approaches! Also, you will find information on how to access PowerSchool for both you as a parent, and for your student. You will need this when schedules are released later this month.
