Our students have been studying the book, The Dot by Peter Reynolds, in their Art Classes, as well as many other classes, over the last couple of weeks! The kiddos have also been creating some fantastic art pieces which correlate with this text!!
The book is a wonderful story, about a journey of surprise, self-discovery, creativity and confidence. The book discusses ways which we each “make our own ‘unique’ mark” on the world!! The students have had a lot of fun with this study!!!
In an almost "perfect timing"fashion…..We have learned that "National Dot Day" is this Sunday, Sept 15.
Please join us as we celebrate making OUR mark on the world Next Monday, Sept 16, by wearing polka dots to school.
And remember...if all else fails, just make a mark and see where it takes you!

Dads Fall Kickoff at NEEI this evening!! 😎🎉 Our group had 25 dads attend, all excited and ready to assist our teachers and students this school year!! 😃🎉 We are so blessed to have had such a great group of parents gather this evening for such a special kickoff event & such a great cause!!
