We are all in our feels after our very first Best Buddies event of the year! Students met in the science lab during flex and decorated pumpkins for our annual pumpkin decorating contest. It was awesome to see so many students participating in this wonderful program! We are looking forward to many more events to come.

Some of you may know her and some may not have had a chance too. However, if you have ever been lucky enough to meet Speech Pathologist, Mrs. Roberts, your life is better for it! Her love for her students and the work she puts in to help them succeed is something to be noted. When one of her students graduates out of speech, you can see how bittersweet it is for her. Her joy knowing they have reached their goals and her sadness at not getting to spend more time with them is apparent. We can't thank you enough, Mrs. Roberts for inspiring and teaching each and every student that comes through your door! EI loves you!

What's up in Mrs. Gardner's classroom? 6th Grade ELA Math and Science Teacher, Mrs. Gardner has been incorporating a new concept in her classroom this year that has created a fun and family-like atmosphere. With more flexible seating and a less-restricted environment students are more engaged and excited about learning than ever! Red Ribbon Week's "Dress in Work-out Gear and Sweats Day" made it even more special! #whatsupwednesday
