It's Tuesday which means we have a fun treat for you! Last week we celebrated Read Across America week and Mrs. Jones' class finished with a treat!
"We finished off read across america with a book "tasting"! Students got to sample different genres and styles of books and enjoy some "coffee" and donuts! America Runs on Reading!"

It's Thursday and we are thankful for our music and art teachers!!! They wrote a grant to get the materials needed for their students to be successful in music and art! Read below for more information!

Their grants are selected and funded by the Assistance League of Tulsa. Assistance League® Tulsa is a non-profit volunteer organization with 280 members contributing over 34,423 hours of service to the Tulsa community."

Treat Tuesday brings quite a treat! Miss. Winn's second grade class has been working hard in their writers workshop!
"Our class has been hard at work during Writer’s Workshop, learning how to write engaging pieces and follow the Writing Process. As a class, we published a book of Fracture Fairytales and the final copies finally arrived this week. We celebrated all of our hard work by reading our stories to the class!"
