Parents,
It's going to be a fun week at WI next week!! Here's the information that you need to know:
- Friday, 10/29, is our Monster Mash Dance Party!! All students will participate during Specials in the gym. If they purchase a wristband for $10, they can wear their (school appropriate) Halloween costume! Wristbands go on sale tomorrow!! PTO will have concessions for sale as well. Wristbands can be purchased every day through next Friday, and they will give the money to their homeroom teacher. This is a fundraiser for our school, so we hope they will participate! The information is on the flyer below.
- Next week is Red Ribbon Week! We will celebrate along side WE. The flyer with the dress up days is below.
- Wednesday, 10/27, Mr. Jason Weis will be presenting to our students during their specials classes. He presents very frank information related to the dangers of social media and other online platforms. His presentation is age appropriate and students will learn a lot from him. He's an excellent presenter and wealth of knowledge. You can find out more about him at www.thedemandproject.org.
- Thursday, 10/28, Mr. Weis will present to parents at 6:30 at the West Cafeteria. Children are NOT allowed at the evening presentation as his information is explicit and detailed. This is a presentation that no parent will want to miss!!
- Don't forget the PTO will have our family movie night on November 5th at Spartan Stadium! This will be a great family event!! You'll want to purchase your raffle tickets too!! The information is on the flyers below.
- Our first nine weeks are over! Please check PowerSchool tomorrow for your child's most up-to-date grades. We do not send hard copies of progress reports at the intermediate level, but if you need one just call our office.
- Spartan Nature Center work days are this weekend!! We hope your family will get involved and join us!! The dates and further information is on the flyer below.
