Each year, some of our sixth graders participate in our Best Buddies program. In this program, they serve as peer mentors to many of our younger students, including some from the elementary. Throughout the year, they hold several activities for their "buddies" as a way of providing connections at school. To fund these activities, they have the Spartan Snack Shop. Snacks are sold each morning before school, and they are $1 each for snacks and $2 for drinks. The snacks tend to be items like Cheez-Its, fruit snacks, granola bars, etc.
