Woo Hoo!! Tomorrow is the big day and we are SO EXCITED!! Here is some info to help your day go a little smoother tomorrow as well as the days to come!
- If you would like to walk your child in tomorrow, you will need to sign in with either your car tag or your drivers license. Students will either go to the cafeteria for breakfast or to the gym first for Spartan StartUp. We will begin together and they will be released to classes with the first bell at 7:45 am.
- Make sure you go through your assigned car line! This is the same for morning and afternoon - drop off and pick up!! If you have an elementary student, that information has been sent to you by the elementary school. If you are unsure, feel free to call our front office at 918-366-1763 for confirmation. Your children will be at the location that has been assigned to them, so you don't want to sit through one line only to have to sit through another!
- We have a new dismissal process and students will be waiting inside to dismiss. The only difference impacting you is that we require you to pull ALL THE WAY FORWARD TO THE LAST CONE, which will be placed close to the stop sign past the awning. We will have two kids per cone, and will load them fourteen at a time. It will go much faster if we do not have to remind parents to pull forward.
- You MUST have your car tag!! No tag, no kid is the basis of this safety program. So if you forget your tag, regardless of whether it's the first day of school or the last, you will have to pull around to the parking lot, park, and walk inside to check your child out. This new program checks students out based on their car tag number, so without the physical tag, we will not release them. The purpose of this program is to know exactly what time a child left school, how they left, and with whom they left.
- If your child is going home with a friend, make sure you have contacted the front office and make sure whoever is picking up your child has your car tag!! Without a car tag, they will have to park and go to the office for check out!!
- Remember that on Friday the students should wear their grade level colors - 4th Grade is Red, 5th Grade is White, and 6th Grade is Blue!! The link for ordering grade t-shirts is HERE, but students can wear spirit wear in those colors, or any shirt in their color as well.
- Mark your calendar for Parent Orientation next week on Wednesday, August 23rd beginning at 5:30 pm in our cafeteria. Remember to wear the colors for your child's grade!! 4th Grade is red, 5th Grade is white, and 6th Grade is blue and this is VERY important!!
