This evening West Elementary was represented by 3rd Graders Emerson Cooper and Jack Campbell at the school board meeting.
Emerson and Jack led the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance. 🇺🇸 These two Spartans did a wonderful job of representing our school!
Emerson and Jack are leaders of the school, kind to their classmates, always willing to lend a helping hand and study hard according to their teacher, Mrs. Poston.

Sharing a roof with our Intermediate friends has some definite perks including Peer Mentors which started this week. 👏🏻
Our elementary and intermediate friends spend time together in the morning and are building strong partnerships! We’re so thankful to have this opportunity for our students to learn and grow from each other. 🥳

Earlier this week, Ms. Abbott’s PK class had a mystery reader! 📚It was Ms. McNamara!! Rumor is Ms. McNamara might have been more excited than the kids. 🥳🤩 Our PK kiddos are loving being in “big kid school” and are model students! ❤️💙

Reminder!
Tomorrow is the day we welcome all WE students to school together and we cannot wait! If you have a car rider, we have a few reminders:
1. Have your transportation number
2. Bring your patience-everyone is learning
3. Pull all the way forward and have your students ready to exit
4. Please do not switch lanes once in the loop.
5. Smile! We've had a WONDERFUL week!
Remember, parents should NOT park and walk their child across the lanes of traffic.
