Mrs. McCorkel's class was studying about the Sugar Act when she discovered her students has NO IDEA what molasses was!
"Since we are talking about he sugar act, which put a tax on sugar and molasses, a lot of kids were asking what molasses was. I let the students try it and told them some common recipes that contained molasses."
It's safe to say, studying Social Studies with Mrs. McCorkel is pretty SWEET!
