At BNI, we always have a yearly theme that guides us throughout the school year and keeps us focused on our goals.
This year's theme: #MakeItMatter.
Our 5th grade students spent last week thinking about this theme in writing classes.
The question: Why do you matter?
The Prompt: Make a list of positive things that you bring to the world. Think about your unique characteristics. Our classroom is a better place because of EACH of YOU. Our school is a wonderful place because each teacher and student brings something positive and unique to this building. Each of us MATTERS! Why do you matter?
We are so proud of the things they came up with! Walking by this wall on a daily basis is going to be an inspiration that lasts throughout the year.
