After reading Because of Winn-Dixie, Mrs. Sams' 4th grade class decided to create their own Mistake Tree. Students decorated water bottles during distance learning and then when returned to school, they each wrote a reflection about a mistake they had made in the past and what they had learned from it. They then sealed their mistakes in the bottles and hung them on the tree.
