Hello BNI Parents,

I hope you all are able to attend our Parent Orientation tomorrow evening, August 23 (5:30-7:00). It is extremely important that a parent or guardian attend parent orientation night, as this is your opportunity to hear an overview of curriculum, homework and grading policies and review schoolwork and classroom discipline policies. The district handbook will be reviewed, but can also be found here. If at all possible, we ask that students stay home so that you can focus on information presented. 

The schedule for the evening will be:

5:30-6:00	All School Parent Meeting This meeting will be held in the cafeteria and is open to ALL PARENTS! We will review school procedures, answer questions, hear from the PTO and much more!
6:00-7:00	Teacher Presentations You will follow your child’s schedule and hear from each teacher.  Your child’s teacher will reach out with more information regarding specific times.

A few odds and ends:

• TEACHER WISH LISTS: Many of our families have asked how they can support our teachers.  One easy way to help our child’s teacher is to purchase an item off of their Amazon wishlist. The teachers have posted their QR codes outside their classroom for easy access. If you want to purchase something off their wishlist, it would be most appreciated! Thank you all for your support!

• MONTHLY NEWS: The first of each month, I will send out our monthly newsletter. This is shared via Website, BPS App Push Notifications and Facebook.  I highly encourage you to take a few minutes each month to catch all of the important information that we share! I always want parents to “be in the know” and this is the easiest way to accomplish that! 

• FACEBOOK: We will do our best to communicate information on all platforms, including Facebook. Please take a minute and follow the BNI school page!
