Dear BNI Parents and Students,
What a WONDERFUL night! It was a joy to see so many faces at our Meet the Teacher yesterday evening. The building was full of energy, smiles and excitement. It was truly special to see! If you stopped by and snapped a picture of your kiddo at the “In My BNI Era” backdrop, would you submit your picture here? We would love to showcase their pictures on our TV screens that are located around the building! As we gear up for tomorrow, please review the information below:
If you did not attend Meet the Teacher, please stop by the front office TODAY (Wednesday, August 16) until 3:00. You will need to pick up your child’s folder which includes their schedule and their security tags.
If you weren’t able to stop into the cafeteria, there were a few “to-do’s”. You can click on the links below to complete those before the first day.
Planners: ALL STUDENTS will need to purchase a planner for $5. You can purchase with cash, check or order through this link.
Extra Car Tags: Each family was given two car hang tags. If you need more hang tags, you can bring $5 (cash or check) into the office or use this link to purchase online.
Yearbooks: Order your child’s yearbook now! Click this link to purchase online. NO CASH OR CHECK PAYMENTS!
PTO: Click here to purchase Spirit Wear, sign up for the VIP Car Line Raffle, join PTO and get the school year calendar.
Your child should have received a backpack tag and zipties. Please attach this to your child’s backpack tonight. All students must have their backpack tag attached!
School Hours for this year are:
- Monday-Thursday: 7:50-2:55
- Early Release Fridays: 7:50–1:55 (beginning August 25)
Doors open each morning at 7:30. Students are welcome to walk to the cafeteria for breakfast.
For the first day of school, you are welcome to walk your child into school! Snap pictures and tag Bixby North Intermediate on Facebook!
Please make sure to load money on to your child’s lunch account before the first day of school. You may put money on your child’s account by check, cash at school or by credit card, debit card or by bank draft at www.myschoolbucks.com. You will need to know your child’s six digit ID number.
Make sure your child knows how they are getting home on the first day of school! If you need information on transportation details, please visit the Transportation page on the Bixby Public Schools website.
Car Rider pick up and drop off information is also found on the Bixby Public Schools website, under North Intermediate’s menu. Maps outlining pick up and drop off procedures will be provided at meet the teacher. Maps and a tutorial video are also available on our school website.
