Today kicked off Start with Hello Week! Each year, thousands of schools and youth organizations nationwide participate in Start With Hello Week, a national call-to-action week dedicated to making new social connections and creating a sense of belonging among youth.

Today was our first Run Club of the school year! The students love this once a month activity during their recess time! Thank you to our PTO, volunteers, and parents that came to cheer on the students!

Thanks to our PTO, BEEF, and families & teachers donating books, our Book Swap is off to a great start! Your family can get free children's books and donate books (clean & in great condition) outside in the blue box, in the cart in the cafeteria, or in the crate in the office. Since this is a public book exchange, please help your children select appropriate books for their age level.

It's another scary day at the Black Lagoon...There's supposed to be a nurse at school, but no one has ever seen her. She is supposed to be a real ghoul! They say she uses a thermometer the size of a flag pole and a surf board as a tongue depressor! They say that she gives students eye tests and if you don't pass, she uses your eyeballs for billiard balls! Hubie swears to never go see the school nurse...until he gets sick one day!
Mrs. Adcock and Mrs. Moore's class went to visit Nurse Wiley together to make sure the nurses office is a safe place!
