#thankfulthursday and we are so thankful to our Pre-K Elves! Their light sure shines bright!
Please be sure to check the Lost and Found during your visit to classroom holiday parties! Also, please remember to write your students name inside all jackets. It helps us find who they belong to.
It's #whatsupwednesday and Mrs. Williams 3rd grade class learned some traditions around the world. From Germany making a pickle ornament, to Australia making a koala ornament, then to England where they had hot wassail, and ended with Mexico making Poinsettias.
BNE holiday class party schedule 🎄
Mrs. Swaim's Pre-k class made a Gingerbread Man cookie and he ran away leading them on a hunt! They never found him, but he left each of them a cookie crumb, icing, and candy with the ladies in the cafeteria!
#tellaboutittuesday
Mrs. Dyson's 2nd grade class created their own go-carts to go along with their story this week, Going Places! They designed it, wrote the how to, and then made it! A great STEM project!

#whatsupwednesday! Nurse Wiley and Mrs. Wright talked to classes about there being so many germs this time of year, then read a story called “I’m A Booger. Treat Me With Respect!” They practice wrapping our finger with a tissue, aka “booger ghost,” if there is anything that you need to retrieve from your nose and then washing hands after. At the very end, they surprise attack them with silly string to show how far germs fly if you openly cough or wipe snot all over things.
Yearbooks are still on sale!
It's #whatsupwednesday and Mrs. Kasbaum's class did a SCIENCE 🧪 EXPERIMENT 🔬!!!
Dissolving Candy Canes! They used 3 cups of liquids: cold water, hot water & vinegar! They predicted and journaled about their activity!
December breakfast and lunch menus are here!
#takecaretuesday and our recess aide, Ms. Stevi does the best taking care of our students at recess! She makes sure to contain a cooperative atmosphere and makes sure students are being safe on the playground. And obviously has a lot of holiday cheer to spread around!
Calling all 2nd and 3rd grade North Elementary families! Help us decorate our library Christmas tree and bring it to life with storybook ornaments! Ornaments can be turned in through Dec 8 to be included in the contest! See the flyer attached for more information!
Today, we had an American Indian dancer come put on a performance for our students and staff! This event was a way for us to honor and celebrate Native American Heritage Month!
