If a student is doing a retake, their original code will work for ordering, and we now have a list of codes in the office if your student no longer has those. BMS 1st Semester Finals will be Thursday, December 16th and Friday December 17th. Odd hours, 1st, 3rd, and 5th, will be testing on Thursday. Even hours, 2nd, 4th, and 6th, will be testing on Friday.

Lost & Found Update: Parents and Students, all items currently in our BMS lost and found will be collected on Wednesday, October 13th. All unclaimed items will be donated to BOC on Thursday, October 21st. If you have lost or misplaced any items, please check our Lost & Found shelves in the cafe today and/or tomorrow.

Bixby Middle School students will be taking the Fastbridge benchmark tests next week. Please make sure that students have a pair of earbuds or headphones that are compatible with their Chrome book. If they can not bring their own, they will be allowed to borrow a pair that has been disinfected. Have a great weekend, Spartans!

Happy 1st Day Cohort B! We are excited you are here today. For afternoon pick up, bus riders will rally in the cafe/gym and wait for their bus # to be called. Car riders can either be picked up in the front of the building or via the loop. No back parking lot student pick up for car-riders allowed. Parents are welcome to park in the front parking lot and wait OR use either of the two lanes available for front pick up. Picking up in the loop may be a big time saver for students who have 6th hour class in the new wing. Please be mindful, the more parents using the inside lane, front parking lot, and the loop for afternoon pick up, the smaller the traffic back-up on Mingo may be. Happy 1st day cohort B! Our BMS doors open for students @ 8:20am. Bus-riding students will exit the bus and funnel into the cafe until being dismissed to class. All bus-riding student will enter the building using the South entrance. Car-riding students can be dropped off in the front (North) of the building using either the outside lane (curb-side drop) or inside lane (parking lot drop). Car-riding students can also be dropped on the South side of the building using the 'loop' for drop off. All car-rider students dropped off in the loop will also enter the building using the South entrance (same as bus-riders). Car-riders will also funnel to the cafe in the morning. Have a Great Cohort!
some B.A.S.I.C. information....
We are excited to offer our new B.A.S.I.C (Building A Strong Independent Citizen) class to our students this year. This class will look a lot like a traditional advisory class but with more depth and focused curriculum. Each student will have a B.A.S.I.C class. On PowerSchool, it may looks like it is a 7th hour class, but it is actually part of the our 4th hour time-frame. Our 4th hour time-frame will include lunch, B.A.S.I.C. and the students' academic 4th hour class. Students' 4th hour teacher will dictate in which order they will attend each. Be on the look-out for an email with additional information.

The BMS PowerSchool Parent Portal is now open! Parents / Students can log onto their PowerSchool account to see their school schedule. Parents / Students can contact their counselor for schedule questions. Counselor contact information can be found on the BMS website by selecting 'Menu' then 'Staff'. Student schedules may change as we move closer to the start of school.
