Bixby Middle School Esports Takes State by Storm!

This past weekend, our incredible esports teams traveled to Waypoint Gaming in Sapulpa to compete in the OESL Spring State Tournament, facing off against 46 of the best middle school players from across Oklahoma in Super Smash Bros. and Overwatch and they did not disappoint!

Super Smash Bros. Highlights

Our students made a major impact in the brackets:

Enrique Dos Santos went undefeated with a perfect 7-0 record, earning 1st Place and the State Title!

Mason Funck battled his way to the Grand Finals, finishing 2nd Place with a strong 5-2 record.

Nathan Gatewood – 25th Place

Overwatch Champions!

Bixby’s Overwatch team powered through the tournament and secured victory in the State Championship match against Chouteau. With teamwork and strategy, they brought home the Middle School State Champion title!
