Hello CI Families! We hope you are doing well and staying safe. Thank you for all the participation this week on our Virtual Spirit Week posts! It has been such fun seeing our kiddos in action! It's been so awesome, that we are going to carry this on for another week as we moved towards distance learning on April 6th. Keeping them connected to school through these activities hopefully helps with the anxiety and restlessness of being at home a lot!
We hope you'll have your kiddos participate. If you would like to share pictures or videos but do not have access to our Bixby Central Intermediate Facebook page, please feel free to email them to me at bshaw@bixbyps.org and I'll be happy to share them for you!
As we know many still have lingering questions about what "distance learning" looks like, please know that we are working diligently, meeting virtually, and getting plans in motion to provide assignments for students daily. Students in our age groups should have 90 to 120 minutes per day of school work while at home, and we will have those assignments ready soon with instruction on how to best access them as well.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we move through this new territory!! We miss the kiddos very much, and we look forward to seeing them involved in next week's activities!! We appreciate your support and remember, it's always a great day to be a Spartan!!
