Hello CE Families!
BPS will move to distance learning for Wednesday and Thursday. Your teacher will reach out to you to verify you have everything you need. All plans will be posted in Google Classroom every day by 8:30am. Please don’t forget specials! Students must participate in order to be counted “present” for the day. If you have any questions or problems please let your teacher know so we can make this transition as smooth as possible.

Today we thanked our counselors with goodie baskets filled with their favorite things!
Our counselors were treated to a yummy lunch for National School Counselors Week!
CE students have been working hard this week making sure our counselors feel the love!
This week is National School Counseling Week! This week is celebrated each year to focus public attention on the unique contributions of our school counselors.
We will be celebrating our wonderful counselors, Mrs. Maguire and Mrs. Adams and everything they do within CE to help our students be successful.
Feel free to leave them a note or shoot them an email thanking them for all their hard work!
In the fall Mrs. Hall, Central Elementary Media Specialist, and Mrs. Adams, School Counselor, wrote a Cox grant to purchase supplies for Makers Space and Brick Based Counseling programs. With the generous donation of $1,000 from Cox Communications, Central Elementary was able to purchase Lego supplies to further enhance these valuable programs promoting STEM and SEL (Social Emotional Learning). Pictured are some of the students who will benefit from this grant. Thank you Cox Communications!
Valentine's Day Parties will be Thursday, February 11th @ 1:05 for Pre-k and 2:05 for grades K-3rd.
Be on the lookout for more information coming from your child's teacher.
Snacks and Valentines will need to be sent in with your child or dropped in the office. This year's party will be students only.
CE: Just a reminder, in order to keep students safe, car line parents must have your red or blue window tags or white parent tag otherwise you will need to go to the office for a new tag. Driver's license or ID is required. Thank you for your cooperation.

Our elves have been hard at work preparing for the Polar Express Parade happening this afternoon! Join us @ CE in your coziest pjs anytime between 4:00 and 5:30. We can't wait to see you!

Tomorrow is the day! Your teachers and staff are busy getting everything ready to see you! Don't forget if you can't make it to the parade to pick up your party packet for Friday morning, let your teacher know today and we will have it for you in the office tomorrow between 7:30 and 3:30.
Be sure to join us Thursday from 4:00-5:30 @ Central Elementary for our Polar Express Parade! During the parade you will have a chance to see your child's teacher and pick up a party packet to be used Friday morning during their class Google Meet time.
