*Interact wants new members! We are a service club sponsored by Rotary International. We meet the first and third Tuesday of each month during lunch in room E-18. We serve the community to make a difference; plus, we look great on college applications. Come check it out.
*Oct. 4th- Josten's will meet with SOPHOMORES for the ring presentation and to pass out ordering information @ 9:00am in the Auditorium. Bring a writing utensil with you to the presentation.
*Nov. 1st- School picture retakes.

Wednesday-Initial Day (wear something that starts with the same letter of your name. Example- Bob could wear blue)

Please note that you are responsible for any classwork or assignments missed during these events. Many colleges and universities will have have more than one visit per semester.
Fundraisers
BHS Choir has begun their annual Pansy sale! These beautiful flowers, grown locally at Sunnyside Greenhouse, are sure to brighten your yard as the weather begins to cool. Flats are $25 each and contain 18 plants. Purchases can be made at tinyurl.com/22bixchoirpansies23 or through your favorite singer in the BHS Choir. Sale ends Thursday, Sept 29th, orders are expected to be delivered Oct 6-7th.
Cafeteria News
Breakfast and lunch are no longer free. Breakfast is $1.55 and lunch is $3.10
Senior 2023 information
Oct. 4th @ 10:30 AND 12:30- Please attend one of these times. Josten's will meet with the Seniors for Grad product and Cap & Gown presentation. They will also pass out ordering information.
Oct. 11th from 10-12 -- Josten's will be on campus in the commons during those times to take your order and payment for Senior Grad Products.
Oct. 27th from 4:30-7:30 -- Josten's will have a table set up in the Common's during Parent/Teacher Conferences if any parent has questions to go over their Senior's order and/or to turn in any order form.
Parking Permits
Student parking permits can be purchased from the following: https://www.bixbyps.org/o/bixb...
Students will need to do the following to purchase a parking permit:
1) Must pay $15 for an athletic drug test on My School Bucks
2) Must pay $20 for parking permit on My School Bucks
3) Fill out Google Doc on BHS website... make, model and tag number of your vehicle
Once all 3 steps are complete, Mrs. Simic can issue you a permit. She's located in the Assistant Principals office, next door to the Attendance Office in the east hallway.
Also, a reminder that Bixby High School is a closed campus for all lunches and all students are expected to eat in the cafeteria areas. Further, students are expected to remain in those areas for the duration of the lunch period. Students SHOULD NOT BE IN THE PARKING LOT OR OTHER AREAS OF THE SCHOOL DURING THEIR ASSIGNED LUNCH PERIODS WITHOUT PERMISSION FROM THE OFFICE. If you arrive at school during your lunch period, you should proceed immediately to the cafeteria areas. Students in violation of these policies will be subject to discipline.
Tutoring for students
We are very excited to announce that the high school will be offering virtual tutoring during the entirety of the upcoming 2022-2023 school year. The Google Meet tutoring format will provide a convenient way for you to receive additional instruction and help with assignments. English, Math, Science and Spanish will begin tutoring on Sept. 6th
The virtual tutoring will be available every Tuesday & Thursday from 6:00pm-8:00pm
To access these Google Meets sessions, please go to meet.google.com and click on Join Meeting. Type in the meeting nickname listed below. Be sure that you are signed in under your BixbyPS Google account.
