Yesterday in Ms.Phenicie’s leadership class we got to experience and learn about the workings of a service dog. Our visit from Niko from the University of Oklahoma “Professor Paws Project” was an extremely educational experience and an unforgettable moment during our freshman year! Not only did we get a full educational presentation of how a service dog works, we also got to enjoy the company of sweet Niko. A hard working, very intelligent canine. This presentation has brought many things to minds such as the interest in occupational therapy and physical therapy as a career in the future. Here in Bixby we all can share an unforgettable moment with smiles and take in educational information at the same time!
