Spartan families,
We are pleased to inform you that December 16 will mark the end of the rolling transportation outages the district implemented earlier this semester. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we worked through these routing challenges. We recognize the inconvenience this has caused for many families and greatly appreciate those who stepped up to assist family members and neighbors during this time.
Our transportation team has worked diligently to bring on additional drivers and formulate a plan for more efficiency among routes moving forward.
As we finalize this plan, there are a few important details of which families need to be aware:
The current rolling blackout plan will remain in effect through December 16. All bus riders should continue with their regular transportation routine through Winter Break. The district will continue to send SMS text reminders relative to outages.
To reduce confusion, the Ride 360 App will be inaccessible to parents December 5 - December 16 as our transportation team makes all necessary changes for the spring semester. Any updates to routing information will continue to be communicated via SMS text.
Some families in the West and North quadrants of the district will have changes to bus number and/or stop time effective January 3rd, 2023. These changes are minimal and will involve adding a second pick-up and drop-off to the schedule each day to free up buses to service other routes.
At this time, we do not anticipate any significant adjustments to the routes serving our East Elementary/Intermediate and Central Elementary/Intermediate campuses.
The district will follow up when all changes have been finalized and notify the impacted families to check the Ride 360 App for updated routing information.
Again, we thank you for your continued support and patience as we address these challenges. Should you have any questions or concerns, we are here to help.
Thank you,
Rob Miller
