Congratulations to Bixby Public School's April Employee of the Month, Silveria Chairez from Central Elementary's food service staff! Silveria has worked for Bixby Public Schools for over 20 years and has never been recognized for her efforts! Even though she has fallen on hard times personally and emotionally, no one would ever know it! She comes to work every day with a smile on her face and a love for serving students. She continues to dedicate herself to making sure she is here for the kids. Silveria works hard to make sure the kitchen runs smoothly and effectively for the students and her team. Sometimes those serving in the background making things run smoothly can be forgotten. Silveria has been one of those individuals that has been a constant. Many students eat breakfast and lunch just to see Silveria every day. She is a hard worker, always on time, and willing to help her coworkers. She is so dedicated. No one could ask to work with anyone better. Silveria has a heart of gold! Way-to-go, Silveria, you make a difference!
