BPS Families,
As you are surely aware, there is quite a bit of snow outside! Even though we are already learning from home, this inclement weather poses a few challenges and changes that we must address for tomorrow, Monday 12/14.
We will remain in distance learning as planned. However, please refer to the items below relative to district services and teacher availability:
School sites will be closed. All on-campus activities prior to 12 PM are canceled.
Due to concerns relative to road conditions, there will be NO bus service on Monday 12/14. This includes the transportation of students who have been attending in-person during distance learning. ALL BPS STUDENTS will receive instruction via distance learning at home on Monday 12/14.
There will be no Grab & Go Meal service. Unfortunately, we cannot ensure the safe travel of our staff in the time frame required to prepare meals. Service will resume on Tuesday, 12/15.
Secondary students will continue with their regular distance learning routines.
Elementary and intermediate students will be engaging in distance learning as well, however, families should expect communication from teachers regarding their availability via email and/or Google Meet due to possible issues with access to technology. Regardless of the schedule relative to Google Meets, students should refer to their Google Classrooms for the day’s assignments.
Most importantly, take advantage of this long-awaited opportunity to build the perfect snowman, get in a few snowball fights with your family, and enjoy the pure beauty of this winter wonderland!
As always, we are here to support you and your students! Please reach out to your site principal via email if you have any questions or concerns.
