Meet the Teacher

  • August 14th

  • Elementary Sites: 2-5 PM

  • Intermediate Sites: 3-6 PM

  • *Emails will be sent at 12 PM from homeroom teachers

  • Middle School: 4-7 PM

  • 9GC & High School: 7:30-10:30 AM

  • *Opportunity to walk schedule

First Day of School

Parent Orientation/Back to School Events

  • Elementary Sites: August 27th, 5:30-7 PM

  • Intermediate Sites: September 5th, 5:30-7:30 PM

  • Middle School: September 4th, 5:30-7 PM

  • 9GC/High School: September 18th, 5:30-7 PM

Device Distribution: Grades 7-12 ONLY

All students in grades 7-12 will be issued a school device. Paperwork is required for devices to be checked out. Students in grades PK-6 have devices in their classrooms and can request a school device be sent home for any potential distance learning days. School sites will provide more information on this process later this Fall.

Communications & Must-Have Apps

We hear you, Spartans! In the past, there has been information coming to families from too many different platforms. The district has made a concerted effort to streamline communications as much as possible. What apps do you need? Visit our communications page for an overview!

Transportation

Families with a bus rider should download the My Ride K-12 app. The app is free via Google Play or Apple Store. Routing information will be available beginning 8/5. For now, families should simply download the app, login, and add their student(s) in preparation for the school year.

Child Nutrition

BPS encourages ALL families to complete the free/reduced lunch application, especially if you may qualify. This impacts our eligibility for various funding in our schools! Everything from technology, student remediation, transportation, professional development for teachers, and even the district’s ability to receive grants depends upon the completion of these applications by families who may qualify.

If students would like to enjoy a school meal or something extra via a la carte, they will need to pay cash or have money on their MySchoolBucks account. For questions or concerns, please contact the child nutrition department at 918-366-2214 or 918-366-2391.
