Archery

I would like to thank the Oklahoma Wildlife Department and the Quality Deer Management Association for donating all the necessary funds and equipment for us to start the Archery Program at Bixby High School!

The Archery in School Program consists of the following equipment:

• 12 bows
• 5 dozen arrows
• 5 targets
• 2 bow racks
• 1 background net
• 1 repair kit

This program gives our Lifetime Sports class the opportunity to branch out and reach other students who may not have a great interest in athletic activities.  Archery is a great activity that students can do throughout their lives to remain physically active.  We also will have the opportunity to get students who truly enjoy the archery program to go to Statewide and National competitions and represent Bixby High School!
