BMS Clubs and Groups

Any 7th or 8th grade student may apply for membership, but all members must remain academically eligible. Open enrollment is during the first month of school with election of officers following.

7th and 8th grade students who currently qualify through state and federal standards are eligible for the gifted program.
Middle school gifted students are served in four ways: Pre-AP placement and honors classes, enrichment study trips that coincide with classroom objectives, academic and artistic competitions and contests, and community service.
The GTO sponsors are Catherine Woods and Sherry Girard.
Sponsored by the National Society of Professional Engineers, the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, NASA, CNA, 3M, Texas Instruments, and Conoco Phillips, MathCounts is a national math enrichment, coaching, and competition program that promotes middle school mathematics achievement in every U.S. state and territory.
