Title I services are provided at three sites in the Bixby Public School District. These sites are Central Elementary, Central Intermediate, and Bixby Middle School. Title I sites are determined by the number of students who qualify for free and/or reduced meal prices based on family income levels established by the federal government. Sites with a free or reduced count above the district average are eligible for Title I services.
Title I Reading support is provided at Central Elementary, Central Intermediate, and Bixby Middle School. Title I Reading support is in addition to the reading instruction provided in the general education classroom.
Title I Math support is provided at Bixby Middle School. Title I Math support is in addition to the math instruction provided in the general education classroom.
In accordance withNo Child Left Behind Act of 2001(NCLB), Section 1111(h)(6) PARENTS' RIGHT-TO-KNOW, parents have the right to request and receive information in a timely manner regarding the professional qualifications of their student's classroom teachers.
